Lavictoire, Denise

LAVICTOIRE, Denise

1937 - 2022

In loving memory of Denise Lavictoire (nee Caza) who passed away at the Temiskaming Lodge on Friday April 15, 2022.

Denise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Denise was predeceased by her husband Raymond, her parents Valerie and Zotique Caza, and her brothers Alfred and Pierre Caza. She is survived by her sons Richard (Sylvie) Lavictoire and Claude Lavictoire (Anna Sawicki). Denise will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Landon (Taylor Brousseau), Leslie (Sabrina Palumbo), Chanelle (Wesley Charlesworth), Maxim (April Boileau) Lavictoire, and her great grandchildren Hunter Lavictoire, Jacob and Victoria Charlesworth, and Drew Lavictoire. She is also survived by many in laws and nieces, nephews and extended family.

Denise was very modest and enjoyed a very simple life. She sure knew how to make everyone laugh, especially her grandchildren. It was her “comments” that made everyone belly laugh! Although, she leaves her small family behind, her spirit and the thought of her rejoining “dad”, will be kept alive in their hearts and fondly remembered.

In keeping with Denise’s wishes, there will be a small private service for her family on Wednesday, April 20th at 1:00 p.m. with Father Wayne Mills officiating, from Perrin Funeral Chapel (128 Whitewood Avenue, New Liskeard, ON P0J 1P0).

The family wishes to offer special thanks to all staff at Temiskaming Lodge and acknowledge the great work they do, especially in the last 2 years having to deal with COVID-19 pandemic.

If desired, donations in Denise’s memory may be mailed directly to the Temiskaming Lodge (100 Bruce Street, Haileybury, ON P0J 1K0).

All patrons entering the establishment are asked to wear a mask during the duration of your visit.

Denise's family

To all of you, Guy and I wish to offer our heartfelt condolences in the loss of your mother. It is in the good memories left behind that she lives on. We were always greeted with a smile, a hug and gratitude (especially if we brought her a can of Coke). She loved to entertain and share jokes. It is good to know that finally she has joined Ray, the love of her life, for a good, easygoing time, cultivating their one of a kind, exceptional garden. It was an honour to be her in-laws! We remember her with love and gratitude.
