We are thinking of all of you at this difficult time. We are also thinking of the fun we had with Dell when we went X-country skiing years ago. She out skied all of us that day! We always enjoyed the dinners at your house Lorne. We always felt welcomed by you and Dell.
She is at peace now and we hope that you will find peace in knowing that there are many caring messages being sent out to you today and in the weeks ahead.

Please accept our condolences on the passing of Dell.
I (Marie-Odile) have found memories of my visits with Dell in the early years of our time as neighbours. When our son Eric was an infant, she invited me to come visit, while in the winter months we waited for our cabin to heat up. I remember her telling stories of her life as a “city girl” who had moved to the country for love. She recounted how life was then: often, while holding our son on her knee, she shared how much she enjoyed being a mother, as each of her sons was born. Even if that meant having to wash diapers by hand! Dell is the one who showed me where “the sandslides” were, and invited us to use them - something which gave us and our children enormous pleasure over the years! Dell will forever be remembered by our family as a lovely person who we were lucky to have as a neighbour.
