CROCKETT, David

Passed away at the Perley Rideau Veteran's Health Center in Ottawa Ontario, on Thursday February 24th 2005, Mr David J. Crockett at the age of 85. Loving father of Heather (Doug) and Charlotte (Ron) and dear Grandfather of David, Katie, Kyle, Colin, and Colby. David also leaves to mourn, his sister Shirley Grace, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Andre and Suzanne Lapointe and the Lapointe family as well as his nieces, nephews and many friends. David was pre-deceased by his loving partner Nicole Lapointe, his father Tom and mother Isabel, and sisters Joan and Barbara, as well as his brother Tom. David was a WWII Veteran with the 6077 Canadian Grenadier Guards 22nd Regiment where he proudly fought for Canada and our freedom. He later worked as a chartered accountant and was a highly respected businessman in the Sherbrooke QC area. He will always be in our thoughts and forever in our hearts. A time of fellowship will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 136 Grove St., Danville, QC, on Thursday March 3rd from 1 to 2PM, followed by a Legion service at 2PM. Donations in David's memory may be made to the Perley Rideau Veterans Hospital, Rideau 2 South, 1750 Russell Rd., Ottawa, ON K1G 5Z6.
