Madame Claudette Groves Desmarais

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of madame Claudette Groves Desmarais on September 10th, 2018 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Xavier Desmarais and daughter of late John Groves and of late Bernadette Marleau. She leaves behind her loving children: Juliette (Maurice) and Tom (Karen); her cherished grandchildren: Stephan, Corinne, TJ, Tristan and her loving cat Sylvester. She also leaves many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her sister Mélina and her husband (Paul Prud'homme) and her brothers: Andy (Murielle) and John (Jeanne).

 

The funeral service will be held on September 22, 2018, at 10am at St-Camillus Catholic Church located at 44 Chemin Plunkett in Farrellton.

 

For those who wish to do so, donations to La Maison des Collines and/or the foundation of the Gatineau Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.

 

The family wishes to thank the Wakefield Hospital staff of the second floor for their immense support for her personal care and respect towards her and her family.
