BOURGEAU, Claudette

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mrs. Claudette Bourgeau on March 29, 2024, at the age of 80. She was the daughter of the late Pierre Bourgeau and the late Thérèse Léonard. Besides her husband Léo Chénier, she is survived by her children Christian (Urairat) and Martin (Louise) and her grandchildren Jean-François, Natacha, Geneviève, Laurie-Anne and Liam. She is also survived by her sisters Hélène (Kelvin), Anne-Marie (Ronald), Céline (late Jacques), Gisèle (Bernard), Éva (late Gérard) and Véronique (Clifford) as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Dominique (Françoise) and her two sisters Lucille (late Jiri) and Alice (late Noël).

Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 10 am from St. Paul's Church, 26 Eardley Road, Gatineau, QC, J9H 0K2. The family will receive condolences starting at 9 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
