Claris PHILLIPS (née Lowry) (1921-2015) Passed away peacefully at the Hôtel-Dieu Hospital, on Tuesday, March17, 2015 in her 94th year surrounded by family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Edward Phillips and companion of the late Dalton Montgomery. Dear mother of Connie (the late Roger) and Gloria (the late Peter). Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren. Claris leaves to mourn her brothers Dr. Curtis Lowry (Hannalore) and Chilston Lowry (Mildred) and predeceased by her brother Claude, Floyd, Clayton, Clement and her siseter Carrie. She also leaves to mourn many other relatives and dear friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 15 Station St. Sawyerville on Thursday, March 19th, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, March 20th, 2015 at the SAWYERVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER ( 6 Church St. Sawyerville) from 1 to 2 pm follwed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Tami Spires officiating. Interment in the Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Claris's memory may be made to the Sawyerville United Church Women, c/o Bonnie Fowler 14 Church St. Sawyerville, QC J0B 3A0 or the the Maple Leaf Cemetery, c/o Linda Fisk, 67 Robert Peel, Sherbrooke, QC J1M 1X5 or to the charity of your choice
