1934 - 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Claire Copeman on December 14th, 2022, at the age of 88. Daughter of the late George Copeman and of the late Bertha Lajeunesse, she leaves behind her children: Michael (Helena), Ron (Nathalie), Deborah (Renald) and Marc; her grandsons: Nicholas (Lauria) and Philippe. She also leaves her sisters: Dorothy Bessette (the late Jacques), Cécile Desjardins (the late Roland) as well as many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sister Pauline.

Since one of her favorite seasons was Spring and that she loved flowers the celebration of life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard in Gatineau (Hull sector) on Saturday May 6th, 2023 at 10 a.m.  The family will receive condolences as of 9:15 a.m.  It will also be possible to view the ceremony, live or by replay, by following the link https://commemora.tv/en/diffusions/66038 . In case of a technical problem during the live webcast, it will be possible to view the replay at a later time.

For those who wish to do so, a donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Outaouais would be appreciated.

The family wishes to thank the Foyer du Bonheur in Hull staff and a special thank you to Dr. Isabella Kannan for the good care provided and for their support.

Marc et ses frères Michael et Ron et sa soeur Deborah

Nous apprenons la triste nouvelle au sujet de Claire, qui nous a quittés vers un monde meilleur. Son départ créera sans doute un grand vide autour de toi, tes frères et ta soeur, mais d'agréables souvenirs viendront mettre un baume sur la douleur que vous ressentez.

Nous avons très bien connu Claire, car nous étions voisins aux appartements de la Vérendrye pendant dix ans. Elle a été presqu'une deuxième mère pour notre fille Sadia, qui a passé de très heureux moments à jouer avec son meilleur ami Marc.

Claire aimait la vie, malgré les diverses épreuves. Elle était résiliente, toujours prête à aider et à rendre service. Nous ne l'oublierons pas et elle demeurera dans nos cœurs pour toujours.

En ces moments difficiles, nous tenons à offrir à tous les membres de sa famille, en particulier à Marc, nos plus sincères condoléances.
