It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Sinclair on October 25th, 2023, at the age of 67. Bruce passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side at the Shawville Hospital. He leaves in mourning his wife Lynne Maisonneuve, daughter Savana Sinclair (Ty Harrison) and his grandson Wyatt Harrison. He is pre-deceased by his parents William and Audrey Sinclair, survived by his sister Heather Van Leeuwan (Dick), nephew Robert and niece Katherine. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law Doris Maisonneuve (the late Angus Maisonneuve), his brothers'-in-law Angus (Debbie), Richard (the late Claude Saucier), sister-in-law Sandra (Ben) as well as nieces and nephews, Danika, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Madison, Amelie and Tristan.
Bruce will be remembered by all who knew him as a hard-worker and a handyman who was always ready to lend a helping hand to everyone with their projects, no matter how big or small. He will be fondly remembered, by his extended family, for his patience, kindness and generosity over all the years of providing a home for their horses.
Bruce's Life will be celebrated at the Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 750 Maloney Boulevard East in Gatineau on Sunday November 5th, 2023 at 10:00 am. The family will receive condolences as of 9:15 am.
We want to thank Dr Ruth Elaine Vander Stelt and all the staff of the Shawville Hospital for their kindness, compassion and the care that they provided Bruce during our time there.
