We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Mr. Barry Crook surrounded by his loved ones in Montreal, on January 9th, 2024, at the age of 58. He was the spouse of Adam Belhachemi and son of the late William Crook and the late Joan Fuller.
Barry also leaves to mourn his daughter Chelsea (Ryan Aronson), his grandson Oscar, his sister Debbie (Ron), his brothers: Jim (Chantal), Bill (Linda) and Mike (Holly) as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will gather to receive condolences at the Cass Funeral Home, 900 Clough St., Ayer’s Cliff, QC, on Saturday, February 10th, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow at the Dufferin Heights Golf Club, 4115, Rte 143, Stanstead, QC, J0B 3E0, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maui Strong fund https://www.hawaiicommunityfoundation.org/maui-strong, a cause dear to Barry.
There are no words that can express the sadness and grief the loss of Barry has caused! We will miss him forever and when we think of him we will remember the joy and positive energy he always had and the same joy and happiness that lives on in Chelsea and Oscar! ️ Love always, Julie
We cannot express our sadness at the news of Barry's untimely passing. He was the consumate father and grandfather and loved the time he got to spend with all of you. None of us knows how long we will get to spend with our loved ones and so taking advantage of the time, as Barry did, makes an indelible mark on them and leaves everlasting memories for them to carry with them through their lives. May your memories of Barry give you strength through this difficult time.

Dear Chelsea Oscar Ryan, Adam and the entire Crook family...to you all go my deepest sympathies on the loss of a wonderful man whose life was cut short far too early. Although I never had the good fortune to get to know Barry, my conversations with Chelsea and others certainly makes me have all the more regret.

My sincerest sympathy to Barry’s family. He was one of the sweetest, kindest, most gentle young man I knew. We rode the same school bus to high school many years ago. He was a good friend. I haven’t seen Barry in many years, but I’m sure if we did see each other, I’d say he hasn’t changed.

I had not seen him since graduation and I was hoping to see him at a graduation reunion we hold every year. Now we will honour him with a toast at the next reunion.

Chelsea je ne pense pas que tu aurais pu avoir un meilleur père que Barry. Tu es chanceuse d'avoir eu un tel père. Il est parti trop jeune, la vie est curieuse et cruelle parfois mais c'est ainsi... Sois courageuse et dis toi qu'il sera toujours là près de toi, même si tu ne peux pas le voir. Il vivra dans ton coeur...

I know Barry well and I can say that he was a good fair person, with a big heart, a sense of humor and other qualities.
Chelsea I dont think you could have had a better father than Barry. You are lucky to have had such father. He left too young. Life is fragile, curious and sometime cruel that's how it is. Be courageous and tell yourself that he will always be there next to you. Even if you can't see it, he will live in your heart...
