It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Simpson-Donoghue announces her passing Friday January 19, 2024 at the age of 90 years old.

She was the beloved wife of Gerry (deceased), daughter of Herbert and Christine (nee Gaeter) Simms, sister of Edna (Gordon Karam), aunt to Cheryl (nee Karam). She was the mother of Bruce Simpson, stepmother of Deborah (Andre Dallaire) and Patrick; sister-in-law of Shirley (Al Micheaud), Mona (Frank Cormier), Michael (Darlene) and Marissa Ann (Les Tilbo).

Barbara enjoyed reading, writing, calligraphy, sewing, restaurants and had an inseparable love of coffee.  She was comforted by the bible’s hope for a future resurrection and remained faithful for over 50 years as a bible student until her death. She loved connecting with people.  She touched the hearts of everyone she had come to know.  Her kindness, warmth and generosity will be deeply missed.
