It is with profound sadness that we announce Arlene Joyce Knapp Fearon passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 85 at the Hotel Dieu in Sherbrooke.

She had a multitude of talents, whether it was driving a farm tractor, painting, leading cattle, or leather work. She was also a major sports enthusiast. She was the daughter of the late Vernon Knapp and the late Edith Patenaude. Dear sister of Violet (the late Vernon), Ronnie (the late Patricia), Betty (the late Martin), Gloria (Chic), Linda, and Roger. Predeceased by siblings Beverley, Lawrence, Roland, Bill, Rita and Winston.

Arlene served with the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Fighter Control Operator Group One. She left the Air Force to marry Larry Fearon on June 28, 1958. Arlene is survived by her husband Larry, her son Timothy (Chantal), her daughter Laurie (Jeff); grandchildren Nicholas (Darlene), Jessica (Joel), Kylla, Jamie (Junior) and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Nicole, Elodie, Colton, Christopher, Marshal, Harrison, and Jackson. Sister- in -law of Dorene Fearon Hodge (the late Lomer), Darlene Fearon Rogers (the late Bain) and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on November 4th, 2023 at the Malvern  Cemetery located at 75 Moulton Hill, Lennoxville, with a reception afterwards held at Cass Funeral Home.

To Gloria and the Knapp family

I last saw Arlene at a painting class in Lennoxville….a few years ago now.
Growing up on the North Road we rode the school bus together ….Ronnie was in my class .
Know that my thoughts are with you all with sincere sympathy.

So sorry in the loss of your mother, wife and sister. Arlene was a special person and will be greatly missed. I used to sit beside her in painting classes. She was so helpful in advice, tips and always ready to show me how it was done. My thought are with you all. Audrey Hopkins
