Antonio-Louis (Tony) Charron

Born on February 2, 1926 in Ponteix, Saskatchewan and died on December 24 at 2:45 a.m.

He was the husband of the late Pauline Ranger (married 67 years old), who passed away on March 12, 2015, and the son of the late Jean-Baptiste Charron and the late Rosanna Parisien.

He is survived by his children: Suzanne (Rénald Ferland), André (Denise Murphy) and Jean; his grandchildren: Karolyn (Christian), Mathieu, Jennifer (Len), René (Erica), Christine (Ibrahim) and Michelle and his great-grandchildren: Louca, Malika, Kayla, Emily, Ethan, Hayden, Ryder, Eve, Isobel, Emma and Sare.  

He was predeceased by his brothers: Cyril, Rody, Raoul and Elzear and his sister Pearl.

Dad was a retiree from The Royal Canadian Mint, on Sussex Street in Ottawa since the age of 56.

A celebration of his life, in the presence of the ashes, will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Outaouais located at 95, boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes, Gatineau, Quebec, J8Y 6X3. The family will receive condolences at 1:30 p.m.
