DELEAN, Andree

1944 - 2023

In loving memory of Andree Delean (nee Vachon) who passed away peacefully at her home in Kenogami, on July 21, 2023 at 79 years of age.

Andree was born in Malartic Quebec and is predeceased by her parents Louis-Pierre and Selma Vachon and siblings Claudia, Pierre(Pete), Diane and Marc. She is survived by her loving husband Ray Delean, brother Robert(Linda) and her sister Maria(Bob) Carroll.

Andree operated a beauty salon in Larder Lake and King Kirkland before finally relocating to Kenogami where she called it paradise and her home. Andree was an intergral part in running Delean's Esso along side her husband, Ray.

Andree will be greatly missed by her step daughter Shelly Delean(Rick), many neices, nephews and a plethora of loyal life time friends including Nancy Valley (North Bay) and Diana Doucette (Deep River).

Andree's passions were playing piano and golfing when she was able. Andree was a long time member of the Kirkland Lake Choir "Just Friends".

Andree had an enormous love of animals and made her (and Ray's) home a sanctuary for many cats and dogs over their 37 years together.

In Andree's honour, donations to your local animal shelters would be appreciated.

I was so sorry to hear about Andrée’s passing away. All those years we sang, travelled, visited and especially laughed with Just Friends are such great memories, and Andrée was so much a part of that. Sincere condolences to you, Ray.

I’m very sad to hear that Andree has dies. She rode on our school bus to KLCVI, was well loved in the Swastika community, and was also a wonderful friend and member of our triple-trio, Just Friends. She will be missed.
