GORDON WOOD, Alma

Peacefully at the Wales Home on Friday, Aug. 5, 2011 at the age of 85. Alma Elizabeth Gordon beloved wife of the late Leonard Wood and loving mother of Grant (Patricia) of Mississauga,Ont., Cameron (Yoon Hyun Jung) of Seoul, South Korea, and Catherine (Allan Marshall) of Lennoxville. Cherished Nanny of Sean (Josée), Bryan (Sylvie) and Heather, and proud Great-Nanny of Madison and Tristan. Alma is also survived by her sister-in-law Doris Gordon, nephew Robert Gordon, niece Sandy Williams and her cousins Mavis Smyth and Ross Wood. Alma will also be sadly missed by her many loving caregivers at the Wales Home. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St., Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), 819-564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca where friends may call on Monday, August 8, 2011 from 1 – 3 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 3 p.m., the Ven. Dean Ross officiating. Interment at the Malvern Cemetery at a later date. As memorial tributes, donations may be made to The Wales Home Foundation, 506 Rte 243 N. Cleveland, Que. J0B 2H0.
