BESNER MAISONNEUVE, Aline

1929 - 2024

Passed away in April at the age of 95, Aline was predeceased by her husband Jean-Paul (1987) and two of her children, Robert, and Diane. Mother of Richard (Jane), John, Monique (Robert) and Guy (Shelley), she was also the loving grandmother of Jazmine, Julien, Sophie, Gabrielle, Justin, Anna and of four great-grandchildren.

Born and raised in Montreal (NDG), she devoted her married life in Ottawa to her family, her faith as an active "cursillistas" and the family cottage in the Gatineau Hills. Those who knew Aline were touched by her gentleness, kindness, and patience.

We are deeply grateful to the staff of the Wakefield General Hospital short term wing and of the Hull Hospital Palliative Care Wing for their compassion and care during Aline's frail and vulnerable last months.

A private family funeral mass will be held for Aline.

Je viens d’apprendre le décès de votre maman. Je vous offre toutes mes sympathies. C’est pas facile perdre une maman, la vôtre était particulièrement douce, aimante et généreuse.
