VALLIÈRES, Alice (née Laframboise)

1920 - 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of Alice Vallières announces her peaceful passing on June 21, 2017 at the age of 96.  She was the daughter of the late Daniel Laframboise and the late Louisa Patry.  Loving wife of the late Raymond Vallières, mother to André (Linda), Lise (Robert), Michel (Paula), Francine (Richard) and Lucie (Domenic); she also leaves behind 7 grand-children and 10 great grand-children.  She also leaves behind her sister Rita (late Rénald Racine) and many nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by her sisters:  Agnès, Marie, Patricia, Marguerite, Cécile, Jeanne and Lilianne and her brothers:  Henri, Albert, Napoléon and Léo.  

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St-Joseph Cathedral, 245 St-Joseph Boulevard in Gatineau (Hull sector). Condolences can be offered to the family at the church starting at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the an organization of your choice would be appreciated.

The family would like to offer their special thanks to the staff (5^th floor) of the Foyer du Bonheur for their good care.

Nous sommes attristés d'apprendre le décès de ta maman. Comme tu le sais, j'ai également perdu ma mère il y a deux ans, et elle me manque tous les jours. En contrepartie, tu viens d'hériter d'une personne incomparable "en haut" qui veilleras sur toi et les tiens comme elle l'a fait toute sa vie.
