DUCHARME (NÉE FAUVEL), Alice

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Alice Ducharme (Fauvel) on March 24^th, 2024, at the age of 81. Oldest daughter of the late Ernest Fauvel and of the late Annette Pigeon.

She leaves to mourn her children Josée (François Archambault), Chantal (Kevin Karambowich), Manon (Michel Groulx) and Serge (Annie Dupuis); her grandchildren Catherine, Amélie (Antoine Gascon), Philippe (Catherine Dubois), Jessica, Marie-Claude (Sara Samson), François and Tristan; her great-grandchildren Leah, Alexis, Anthony, Aymeric and Anastasia. She also leaves her brother André (Gervaise Pelletier) and her sister Marie-Paule (Jahn Ruys) as well as Dawn a longtime friend, many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Robert and by her sister Louise. 

The celebration of life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS at 95 de la Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Friday April 5^th, 2024 at 10 a.m. The family will receive condolences as of 9:15 a.m. It will also be possible to view the ceremony, live or by replay, by following the link https://commemora.tv/fr/diffusions/88229. In case of a technical problem during the live webcast, it will be possible to view the replay at a later time.

For those who wish to do so, a donation to the Ottawa General Hospital in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.

Dear Manon & family, it breaks our heart to see you so sad, I know it's a good sad but I know from experience how hard it is to let go your Mom. I've seen everything you did for her and how thankful she was to have such a good daughter. I had the pleasure to work with Alice and later on with Manon so our friendship goes a long way. You had a really good funny and a little curious Mom. We all know she's in a better place and now and that she is no longer suffering.
