COGHILL, Alexander

It is with deepest sympathies that we announce that Alex Coghill passed peacefully away on July 20^th, 2024, at the age of 75. Son of the late Thérèse Chamberland and the late Alex Coghill. 

He was the beloved husband of Diane Boyer Coghill and loving father of Brigitte (Greg) and Christina (Tyler). He was the adored grandfather of Brielle and Aveline. He will be sorrowfully missed by his brothers and sister May (Claude), Ken and Paul (Carole), his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Richard (Micheline), Louise (Graydon), Odette (Phil) and Daniel (Isabelle) and many nephews, nieces and friends.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, love for his family, and adventurous spirit.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 14^th, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 1369 La Vérendrye Boulevard West in Gatineau. I worked with Alex for several years at Digital Equipment Corp. I knew Alex as man of honesty, integrity and respect for his fellow man. Alex had a deep love of family and was always willing to invite me into his home for great and deep conversation.
