Ruby spent her early years in Scotland and came to Canada in 1930 at the age of 16. After a brief time in Montreal she moved to Chesterville, Ontario, where she met her first husband, George. The couple lived in Morrisburg, Ontario for a number of years and then moved to Georgeville, Quebec, when George was serving overseas in WWII. Before moving to The Whitehouse in Stanstead, Ruby was an active member of the Georgeville community, participating in many church and community activities. She is survived by her three sons, Richard (Georgina), Daniel (Margaret) and George (Marj). Ruby also leaves to mourn many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and dear friends.
