QUEHE, Ada (1930-2022)

Sadly, we announce the passing of Ada on Thursday, July 14 th, 2022 at the Temiskaming Hospital in New Liskeard, ON at the age of 92 surrounded by Family.

Born and raised in West Sand Lake, New York. Ada was loved by everyone who knew her for her kind and gentle ways and firm beliefs in God. She had a life-long passion for gardening, knitting, crocheting, and reading her Bible, and her life centered around her Family.

Beloved wife for 70 years to George Quehe. Loving Mother to Elsie (Clifford) Goheen, Roy (Joan) Quehe, John (Karen) Quehe, David (Sandy) Quehe, George (Gayle) Quehe, Sheila Quehe, and Eva (Tim) O'Brien.

Predeceased by her husband of 70 years, George Quehe, and siblings Richard Lewis, Edward (Peggy) Lewis, Irving (Ruth) Lewis, Helen (Fred) Stanwix, Edith (Ben) Hiles, Constance (Floyd) Olmsted, Oscar (Barbara) Lewis and Kenneth (Saundra) Lewis Sr.

Ada is loved and will be truly missed by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 18, 2022, from 9:00 am until 9:45 am followed by a service at 10:00 am at Perrin Funeral Chapel. Burial will be held immediately following the service at Valleyview Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.

Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.

Ada Quehe

To all my cousins first second and thirds We all here in New York loved and will miss our last remaining aunt in the last year and a half we lost my mom Edith our uncle Ken and now Aunt Ada it's the end of a generation now we have to be the oldest generation. It won't be easy filling their shoes and as each generation leaves family falls apart, luckily for us there is face book to help keep some of us connected.
